Sauce Labs is seeking a Customer Support Engineer to assist Enterprise customers with technical questions and issues. This role involves solving problems, reproducing issues, reporting bugs to our developers, managing a queue of support tickets, and conducting occasional online meetings with customers. You will also develop customer-facing documentation and code samples demonstrating testing in the Sauce cloud. The ideal candidate has at least 6 months of development experience or experience supporting developers, and 1–2 years in a support engineering role. Proficiency in at least one programming language (JavaScript, Python, Ruby, PHP, Java, or C#) plus HTML and CSS is required. Strong written communication and a customer-focused mindset are essential. Additional skills include knowledge of Selenium and/or Appium, CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Bamboo), test automation frameworks (e.g., JUnit, TestNG, Protractor, Cucumber, Capybara, Jasmine, Mocha, Karma, Cypress), Unix command line, and troubleshooting networking issues. Experience with Android emulators or iOS simulators is a plus. Sauce Labs operates a hybrid workplace: employees near an office should be able to come in, while remote hires may travel to an office as required by the role. The US compensation range for this position is $80,000–$93,000 USD, exclusive of bonuses or stock-based pay.
