Responsibilities include maintaining standard costs for materials, labor, and overhead; reviewing production processes to identify cost drivers and propose efficiencies; evaluating cost structures and sales data to support pricing strategies and profitability analysis; assisting the Quoting team with detailed cost estimates and pricing models for major customer quotes and LTAs; monitoring and reporting job cost variances; supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes related to inventory and cost accounting; aiding budgeting and forecasting related to cost of goods sold and manufacturing expenses; ensuring accuracy of inventory valuation and compliance with accounting standards; collaborating with engineering, operations, and sales to align cost assumptions with business strategies; supporting the implementation of Infor Cloud Suite Industrial (Syteline ERP), including developing new cost rates and processes to transition from Standard Cost to Actual Cost; and continuously improving accounting processes, costing methodologies, and reporting tools, including leveraging AI and process automation.
