Reporting to the Vice President & Manager of Client Experience, the Copywriter focuses on analytical and creative writing for fundraising and nonprofit communications, serving as the primary writer for client reports and contributing to campaign messaging and related deliverables. Responsibilities include leading the synthesis of qualitative and quantitative data to develop comprehensive client reports, developing messaging for fundraising campaigns, producing copy for client communications across brochures, digital presentations, web, and video, analyzing client materials to identify key findings, developing client-facing presentations, and supporting day-to-day project management, proofreading, and quality control. The role requires residence in the Chicago area with a minimum of 2 days per week in person or on-site with clients, and may include up to 20% travel time with clients. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related discipline, 3–5 years of writing experience in a collaborative environment, strong technical/business writing and analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects.
