Based in Maricopa, Arizona, the Community Manager I is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management and coordination of homeowner association operations to ensure smooth functioning and adherence to governing documents. This role collaborates with Board Members, Senior Managers, and the property management team to develop strategic direction and align activities with the association's mission and goals. Key duties include developing, communicating, and monitoring property budgets; reviewing monthly finances and advising the Board on anticipated shortfalls or excess funding; coordinating, negotiating, and administering vendor contracts; auditing and approving invoices in accordance with the client's accounting procedures; preparing timely monthly financial reports; conducting monthly inspections of common areas and documenting any deed restriction violations; attending all Board and annual meetings; preparing and distributing notices of meetings, agendas, and minutes; and administering procedures related to enforcement of rules, regulations, policies, and current laws. Qualifications include strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to establish strong interpersonal relationships with Board members and vendors; excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and pay attention to detail; strong customer service, presentation, and time-management skills; adaptability to change; proficiency in Windows and MS Office with advanced Excel capabilities.
