Cisco is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer to join the Cloud Service Providers Platform, which builds scalable cloud services for hosting Splunk’s enterprise software across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. The team develops cloud services and automation using Golang, RESTful APIs, Kubernetes, and Terraform. You will collaborate with experienced engineers on small-to-medium features, building cloud-native development and production operations experience with guidance from the team.

What you’ll do: - Develop, test, and maintain Golang services and RESTful APIs - Contribute to cloud infrastructure and automation across AWS, Azure, and GCP - Deploy and operate containerized services in Kubernetes - Participate in technical design, implementation, testing, code reviews, and documentation - Write clean, secure code and incorporate feedback from other engineers - Monitor and triage production issues and participate in on-call rotations and post-incident reviews with team support - Estimate assigned work and communicate progress, risks, and blockers - Build expertise in a platform component and share your knowledge with teammates - Help improve our software, automation, and engineering practices
