This on-site role will initiate and oversee research projects within the department, with direct collaboration with study Principal Investigators. Responsibilities include project coordination and process development, data management and chart abstraction, study visit coordination, participant tracking and retention, and effective communication with investigators, sponsors, regulatory offices, and external partners. The role also involves grantsmanship support (grant applications, manuscripts, abstracts, and presentations) and contributing to scientific writing in grant proposal development. You may supervise staff in performance of duties as needed. The project will include work for Dr. Martin's Sickle Cell program, ensuring alignment with defined scientific objectives and allocated effort. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field; at least 5 years of experience in clinical research, including a minimum of 3 years in project management (managing specific clinical trials or related programs).
