Abbott is a global healthcare leader with a broad portfolio of diagnostics, medical devices, nutritionals, and branded medicines. We are seeking an Associate Sales Representative, CRM for an on-site role in Chattanooga, Tennessee, to cover an assigned territory and call on physicians, medical laboratories, distributors, and hospitals to sell Abbott medical devices. You may conduct marketing surveys, evaluate calls and sales activities, and perform territory analysis. The position develops and services new and existing accounts, suggests and presents new products, and assists marketing with advertising and promotional strategies. Responsibilities include visiting and educating clients, building business plans with management to identify targets, training medical professionals on product use, providing staff education and technical troubleshooting, and ensuring all pertinent patient information is properly documented. You will manage inventory, monitor competitors, analyze sales statistics, prepare reports, and perform required administrative duties. Occasional trade shows or conferences may be attended to meet clients and discuss new product developments. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent, typically 2+ years of sales or clinical support experience in healthcare, the ability to analyze technologically complex devices, strong written and verbal communication, negotiation, interpersonal and presentation skills, and familiarity with medical device industry policies and procedures.
