Mercy Housing is seeking an Assistant Project Manager I to provide administrative and technical services to the real estate development team for new development, relocation/community development, and rehabilitation of housing projects. This project-based role offers a hybrid work schedule. Responsibilities: - Create, compose, and prepare correspondence (tenant/community notices) and distribute via fax, mail, or email as needed. - Write and edit materials using Word and Excel; independently manage administrative functions for the division/site. - Schedule and coordinate meetings, conference calls, and meeting spaces. - Attend project meetings with consultants, tenants, and other stakeholders; take notes, ask questions, and support logistics of community meetings; research inquiries as needed to respond to stakeholders. - Assist with tenant/project files or databases; produce reports; maintain confidential materials. - Prepare check requests, invoicing, contracts, division plans, and budgets/proformas for review. - Prepare project financial analyses, narratives, and applications/proposals for funding. - Support various division/site projects and the team; create, track, and follow-through on tasks. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Planning, Communications, or related field. - One year of relevant experience. Preferred: Experience in low-income housing. This role complies with the Sacramento Fair Chance Ordinance and we will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
