Sarnova is seeking an experienced Assistant Controller, Accounting to lead the technical and general ledger accounting functions from our Dublin, Ohio location. The role requires delivering timely, accurate financial reporting in compliance with IFRS (internal use) and US GAAP, safeguarding company assets, and building a capable accounting team. Responsibilities include: leading day-to-day accounting activities and staff, improving processes, developing internal metrics and reporting capabilities, overseeing the monthly close and consolidation of business unit financials, and coordinating external audits (year-end financial statements and 401(k)). Oversee accounting for debt, equity incentive compensation, income tax provision, distribution partner accounting, and committed-use programs; ensure timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes; and collaborate with Purchasing, Credit/Collections, Warehouse, and Operations. Develop mastery of ERP systems (Great Plains and Microsoft Dynamics 365) and coach the team on their use; promote disciplined documentation of policies and internal controls and drive continuous improvements. Qualifications include: Bachelor's degree in accounting; 10+ years of accounting experience; 3–5 years in leading an accounting function (public accounting background acceptable); CPA certification; strong project management, multitasking, and ethical standards.
