KIRA is seeking an Android software engineer to build the native Android experience for the AI Finance Agent. This remote role is based in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago. You will focus on clean user flows, fast performance, and high-quality mobile features used by real customers. Responsibilities include building and shipping Android features in Kotlin, creating smooth flows for insurance, payments, claims, renewals and financial services, collaborating with product and design to simplify complex user journeys, integrating backend APIs to ensure stability, security and reliability, and continuously improving app performance, crash rates, loading times, and memory usage. You will use analytics and production feedback to refine the product and build AI-assisted mobile experiences where they genuinely improve the user journey. Requirements: 3+ years of Android development with Kotlin, strong Android fundamentals, and experience shipping production apps; proficiency with Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow, and modern Android architecture; a strong sense of mobile UX and user flows; experience integrating REST APIs and debugging production issues. Desired: experience with TensorFlow Lite and on-device inference. English is the working language.
