Papaya Global is seeking an AI Engineer to join our AI Products and Business Operations teams in Krakow, Poland. You will own the engineering, development, and delivery of reusable AI-powered workflow automations and intelligent agents across functions such as Sales, RevOps, Finance, Support, and Operations, translating business needs into scalable AI solutions and integration infrastructure connected to core business systems. Responsibilities include building and deploying production-grade AI workflows and agents using orchestration tools, LLM frameworks, and business logic; leading initiatives from scope through design, build, test, rollout, and iteration; partnering with BU stakeholders and IT to map processes, identify bottlenecks, and prioritize high-ROI automation opportunities; collaborating with the AI Business Champion function to ensure adoption and scaling across teams; owning adoption metrics and driving continual improvement; staying current on evolving AI capabilities and turning promising ideas into practical internal products. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience; 4+ years of hands-on experience building operational software, automations, or business systems, including at least 1 year delivering AI-powered workflows; strong Python skills with JavaScript/TypeScript as a plus; experience with automation or orchestration tools and agent frameworks (e.g., n8n, LangChain, Claude Code, or similar); practical knowledge of LLM platforms, prompt design, and workflow engineering for reliable execution; strong communication skills
