This role drives the application of systems thinking to enable design, coding, testing, and deployment of software, and supports the software development life cycle through documentation, prototyping, and solutions across diverse technologies. Responsibilities include integrating and supporting Sterling WMS components and ensuring reliable data flow between warehouse systems and enterprise applications; analyzing Sterling WMS‑related issues across inbound, outbound, and inventory workflows; coding, testing, debugging, and documenting complex software; reviewing and troubleshooting core and customized software; responding to escalated customer inquiries and providing technical/operational support; implementing corrective actions for root cause analysis and defect resolution; following SDLC standards; designing, developing, testing, and supporting applications using MQ, IBM Integration Bus, ESQL, Java, EDI, Oracle Database, SOAP/REST Web Services, DataPower, API Connect, XML, SOA, ESB, and workflow technologies; developing technical specifications and prototypes; configuring interfaces to other application systems; analyzing data and providing root-cause analysis; communicating with end-users to clarify business requirements; developing test plans; mentoring team members; generating reports using queries and PL/SQL; and providing after-hours or on-call support as required.
