We are establishing a Global Shared Service Centre in Sofia and are seeking an Accounts Receivable Team Lead to help build the AR function from the ground up.

The Opportunity: As an Accounts Receivable Team Lead, you will be a strategic leader within the finance department. This role is pivotal during a transition as AR activities move from the UK to Sofia. You will oversee knowledge transfer, stabilise new workflows, and ensure business continuity. You will lead a team, drive process documentation, and identify long-term opportunities for improvement. You will view AR as an end-to-end process with a strong emphasis on partnering with other finance functions to deliver seamless operations.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop the AR team; set priorities and manage the transition of AR activities from the UK to Sofia. - Manage knowledge transfer and create robust process documentation to secure BAU. - Drive resolution of complex billing and invoicing requirements; handle escalations; be a primary contact for partners and customers. - Partner with Commercial Finance and other internal teams to enhance the customer experience; enforce payment terms and risk management. - Analyze receivables, prepare performance reports, ensure timely and accurate collection in line with Ocado policies. - Ensure proper operation and evidence of financial controls and complianc
