As a leading manufacturing partner to aerospace, defense, and space OEMs, we produce high-tolerance, complex geometry parts from standard and exotic metals and work with major aerospace manufacturers such as Boeing, Lockheed, and Northrop to support mission-critical programs. Job Purpose: The Team Lead will oversee the performance and production of the department, including production control, quality control, safety, ISO documentation, and shipping/receiving. The role requires hands-on leadership, facilitating communication between shop floor, shift changes and office staff, and building relationships with vendor staff to maintain customer satisfaction on assigned work orders. The Team Lead will test and validate programs, set up machines to run programs, and train CNC Operators. They will also troubleshoot programs. Shift: First Shift, Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily CNC mill production; ensure orders are completed on time, within cost, and to quality standards. Set up and operate 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC mills; verify routers, drawings, and programs for accuracy. Provide reliable setups, instructions, and tooling support to operators; monitor cycle times, scrap rates, and part quality. Lead and motivate machinist team by setting goals, delegating tasks, and fostering open communication.
