Senior Software Engineer to join the core platform team at a Y Combinator–backed, seed-stage AI startup focused on modernizing procurement and distribution for the defense, aerospace, and industrial sectors. This backend-leaning, full-stack role will design and ship end-to-end features across frontend UI, backend services and APIs, AI workflows, and database schemas to support high-value supply chain operations. What you'll do: Collaborate with the platform team and forward-deployed customer-facing engineers to design, build, and maintain robust full-stack systems. Integrate with complex legacy environments (ERP, CRM, supplier portals, spreadsheets, shared drives, and more). Build and maintain backend services and RESTful or GraphQL APIs. Develop frontend UIs using Svelte and TypeScript. Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas and write efficient SQL for data-intensive workflows. Contribute to AI workflows and validation systems powering real-time operational intelligence. Manage and deliver multiple projects in parallel within a collaborative, co-located team environment. Work closely with teammates across San Francisco and Warsaw offices.
