STERIS is seeking an Associate Project Manager - Installation to lead basic to moderately complex installation projects in the Cleveland, Ohio area. The position collaborates with the Sr Manager, Installation & Renovation Services to coordinate resources, manage project scope, schedules, and costs, and ensure high-quality installations and customer satisfaction from pre-installation through start-up. Responsibilities include risk assessments, developing project execution plans and work breakdown structures, and maintaining cost allocations in financial reporting. The PM will provide detailed scopes of work to installers and subcontractors, ensure appropriate product training, and proactively address potential issues through site visits and coordination meetings. You will negotiate change orders, coordinate equipment start-up with Field Service Representatives, and ensure a seamless transition to service. Building and maintaining relationships with customers, consultants, prime contractors, subcontractors, and trade personnel is essential, as is engaging with architects and officials to define installation requirements and ensure regulatory compliance. Qualifications include an Associate’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management (or a High School/GED with at least 1 year of related experience), strong project management skills, excellent communication and negotiation abilities, financial acumen, and the ability to travel up to 75%.
