DataDome is seeking an AI Engineer to join the Threat Research team and strengthen our real-time detection capabilities with generative AI. You will work on applied AI engineering to automate threat analysis, improve detection through data-centric approaches, and build AI-powered features for our platform. You will collaborate with multiple tech teams to deliver AI-driven capabilities and help build our Gen AI stack in the cloud (AWS or GCP). The role involves applying generative AI to detection topics, such as automating traffic analysis with agents and generating summaries of detections based on historical improvements, and identifying new AI use cases for fraud detection. Our stack includes real-time detection in Java, a low-latency stream engine in Scala on Flink, ElasticSearch for storage, Kafka for messaging, HAProxy for load balancing, and Symfony/Angular dashboards. While prior cyber-security experience is not required, mentors will help bridge gaps. Strong Python experience (minimum 2 years) and a solid CS background are expected, along with good knowledge of LLMs and AI engineering concepts, and a hacker-spirited mindset. Nice-to-haves include experience with GCP VertexAI or AWS Bedrock, multi-agent frameworks (e.g., CreawAI), and PyTorch. We offer flexible work arrangements: remote options with a Paris office adjacent to Opera Garnier. If you work fully remotely, a SNCF pass is paid to visit the office monthly. We also provide extensive benefits including healthcare through Kenko, a €100 annual leisure allowance, a €200 bike-to-office subsidy, and a learning and
