Technical Support Specialist will provide L1/L2 IT support for the WSC IT infrastructure, with emphasis on Department of Defense (DoD) equipment and software under the Food Service contract at Sheppard Air Force Base. Responsibilities include: troubleshooting and supporting food service applications such as procurement, point of sale, and inventory/recipe management; maintaining onsite hardware including computers, printers, cash registers, and related peripherals; performing preventive maintenance on government-supplied IT equipment; tracking and inventorying government IT assets; coordinating with the 82 FSS IT Support Office and Air Force Headquarters as needed; managing user access and accounts for DoD applications; assisting with training compliance for users; delivering help desk support for WSC IT resources; supporting asset management and maintenance per WSC policy; and continuously updating knowledge to meet evolving technology needs. Requirements include: CompTIA A+ certificate; valid driver's license with proof of insurance; ability to pass Tier 1 NACI background check; bachelor's degree in computer science, information science, mathematics, or related field; at least 3 years of L1/L2 IT support experience.
