Overview: Google's software engineers build next-generation technologies that scale to billions of users and power experiences beyond search. We are seeking a versatile engineer with strong full-stack capabilities to contribute to publisher optimization and ad tech. The role involves developing scalable systems across the full stack—from pipelines and back-end services to front-end interfaces—and collaborating with UX, Product, and Sales teams to deliver effective advertising solutions for publishers and advertisers.

Develop a deep understanding of the Web ecosystem, including how sites are developed, monetized, and how to provide a fair exchange of users with content and ads.
Design, build, roll out, and monitor systems that implement these solutions.
Investigate innovative technical approaches, including applying Google's AI capabilities to real apps with billions in annual revenue at stake; work across back-end, data pipelines, and UI to ensure seamless integration.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to maintain Google as a trusted partner for publishers across the web.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of software development experience; strong full-stack background with back-end languages (e.g., Java, C++, Android, iOS) and front-end (JavaScript/TypeScript).
3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
Master's degree or PhD
