About the role
HR Manager position based in New York, New York, United States. This is a full-time exempt role within the Human Resources department reporting to the President & CEO. The HR Manager will serve on the leadership team and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, while providing senior management with up-to-date information for benefits administration and staffing decisions.
Responsibilities
- Act as a resource for supervisors to discuss and resolve department-wide HR issues and employee relations matters.
- Provide disciplinary procedures and guidance in compliance with HR and labor laws.
- Oversee all aspects of human resources, including salary and benefits administration.
- Stay current on employment and labor law changes and recommend and implement changes for compliance.
- Assess the effectiveness of HR and administrative services and use results for strategic planning.
