Care.com is seeking a Financial Analyst to provide support to the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team in a variety of finance initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proficient with Excel, comfortable working with data sets to surface insights, and able to communicate financial concepts clearly.
What you'll be doing: - Develop and maintain financial models used for forecasting and business planning. - Monitor and analyze key metrics and business trends, with regular updates to the broader finance team. - Prepare weekly reports highlighting operational results, forecasts, and business plans across Care.com's divisions and subsidiaries. - Support the development of budgets, business plans, and forecasts for Care.com and its business units. - Identify operational issues and contribute to recommending solutions. - Support the FP&A team to meet internal and external deadlines. - Assist with ad hoc projects as appropriate.
