Squarepoint is seeking a Reliability Software Engineer (Data) to join the Data team in London, United Kingdom. This on-site role focuses on ensuring the performance, stability, and availability of Squarepoint's data ecosystem. You will maintain critical data pipelines, automate operational workflows, manage infrastructure, and build observability tools, incident triage capabilities, and self-serve automation. The team handles incident resolution and supports data development across production deployments and data onboarding. Responsibilities include building and improving automation for operational tasks, maintaining the data development infrastructure through monitoring and observability, owning deployments, supporting users, and leading incident resolution, as well as monitoring production pipelines and loading Timeseries for research and trading. Key initiatives include a health monitoring platform, deployment automation, and a Jira-driven self-serve automation platform. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; 4+ years of software engineering or reliability experience; Python (2+ years); Linux command line proficiency; relational databases (PostgreSQL); experience with Git, Consul, Grafana, Kibana; cloud platforms such as Google Cloud or AWS; strong written and verbal communication; proactive, detail-oriented, and self-driven with a strong sense of ownership.
