BAUER Equipment America, a leading global provider of foundation equipment and support to the foundation construction industry, is seeking a Junior Cost Accountant for its Conroe, Texas location. The role reports to the Cost Accounting Team Lead and supports the preparation and maintenance of financial and business transaction data in accordance with BAUER group standards, US GAAP, and IFRS. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with BAUER group cost accounting standards and applicable GAAP/IFRS; preparing budgets, reports, forecasts, deviations, and ad-hoc data analyses; processing documentation and accounts payable invoices; billing customer invoices daily and creating internal journal entries for service billings; month-end reporting and monitoring of work in progress; ensuring accurate and timely billing of finished products and monitoring inventory usage in production; participating in commercial improvement projects and advising senior management on production performance improvements and cost-saving opportunities; and performing other projects or tasks as assigned. Requirements include a high school diploma (some college preferred), proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and intermediate SAP knowledge, the ability to apply reasoning to solve problems, interpret instructions, multitask in a fast-paced environment, and strong communication skills; 1–3 years of related experience; and the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in workshop, office, and job-site environments with standard safety requirements.
