Illuminus is seeking a highly motivated Accountant to join our senior living team in Watertown, Wisconsin. This on-site role involves preparing financial statements, tax returns, and cost reports in accordance with US GAAP, compiling and analyzing account information, and maintaining general ledger entries with reconciliations. Responsibilities include substantiating financial transactions by auditing documents, reconciling discrepancies, maintaining internal controls, and producing balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports. The accountant will assist in the development of the annual budget and projections and maintain fixed asset records. The role may require on-call duties as assigned. Requirements include a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, two to three years' experience as a General Accountant (healthcare experience preferred), strong reporting and spreadsheet skills, and the ability to handle confidential information and exercise independent judgment.
