About the role

Ramboll is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead the design and construction of water and wastewater projects in the United States. This role, within Ramboll’s Water US, Construction Management Division, requires overseeing project staff, interpreting drawings and specifications, and ensuring delivery aligns with the design intent, project execution plan, budget, and schedule. You will lead high‑performance teams, resolve conflicts, mentor future leaders, and drive safe, quality project delivery.

Key responsibilities include: managing budgets, project staff, subcontractors, task schedules, change orders, and project risks; handling invoicing, accounts payable and receivable, and budgeted gross margin; ensuring conformance with quality and safety guidelines; pro‑actively managing change orders and risks; maintaining client contact and implementing strategic plans related to technical advice, permitting, and construction phase services for water/wastewater projects; selecting project team members, procuring subcontractors, and administering budgets and schedules; promoting health and safety and leading by example; preparing business development proposals and negotiating with clients; conducting constructability reviews and quality checks; motivating and developing a project team and promoting inclusion and diversity; using Ramboll tools for frequent check-ins, goal alignment, career development, and succession planning; identifying hiring needs and supporting onboarding of new staff.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering technology with 8+
