You will own security across Azure cloud, hybrid infrastructure, and edge deployments, with hands-on work designing detections, hardening Kubernetes, and integrating security controls into CI/CD pipelines. Responsibilities include designing security architectures, managing security tooling (SIEM like Microsoft Sentinel, EDR/XDR, WAF, CSPM/CNAPP), and leading incident response. You will perform security assessments, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing across cloud, infrastructure, and applications, and you will secure AI/ML workloads at the edge. You will enforce policy-as-code using tools such as Azure Policy, OPA/Gatekeeper, or Kyverno, and maintain governance aligned to NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2, producing audit evidence and tracking threats. The role requires strong hands-on cloud security experience, including in Azure Defender for Cloud, Entra ID, Key Vault, and network security, plus production experience with SIEM/EDR, vulnerability management, and secure CI/CD practices (SAST, DAST, SCA, secrets scanning, IaC scanning). You should be proficient in Python and SQL/KQL for automation and log analysis, and have hands-on experience with Kubernetes/container security. U.S. citizenship is required.
