This on-site role will serve as the site expert for product cost calculation, forecasting, and analysis, implementing and maintaining product costing processes in accordance with Bosch corporate standards and providing transparency into product cost development. The analyst will partner with manufacturing and engineering to analyze cost drivers and identify opportunities for product cost improvement. Key responsibilities include owning the product cost calculations at the Roseville plant, validating master data, routings, bills of materials (BOMs), activity rates, and cost allocation methodologies; performing detailed variance analyses versus plan; conducting root-cause analysis and recommending corrective actions; working independently in the SAP R/3 CO module; preparing financial presentations and supporting financial reviews for local executive management; and contributing to continuous improvement within the finance function.
