About this role: As a Senior Data Engineer at Amigo, you will own the data layer that everything else runs on—ingestion, transformation, modeling, and the query tools used by other teams. You will build integrations that ingest and sync customer systems (EHRs, schedulers, warehouses, APIs), design transformations that normalize messy source data, and build and optimize pipelines to maintain a single, clean profile per patient. You will enable powerful natural language query interfaces over healthcare data and ensure data freshness, accuracy, and performance at scale. What we're looking for: You have built and operated production data systems at scale and own the outcome; you are strong with data modeling, transformation, and pipeline design; you have deep SQL and query optimization experience over large datasets; you have worked with enterprise data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, Palantir, or similar); you prefer simple, maintainable solutions and operate with a low ego and high standards. You can work on site in New York City or San Francisco.
