About the role

Conagra Brands is seeking a Financial Analyst, Accounts Receivable to support the Corporate Controllers Group within the Financial Accounting Team. The role focuses on cash accounting, accounts receivable accounting under revenue recognition guidance, payroll accounting, and project work, applying GAAP principles and collaborating with colleagues and offshore partners to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Responsibilities

Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations with accuracy and solid documentation.
Perform monthly and quarterly close activities, including analysis, validations, journal entries, and reconciliations in line with GAAP and audit requirements.
Ensure supporting documentation is complete, clear, and standalone.
Support preparation of internal and external financial statements in accordance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
Assist with special projects including mergers and acquisitions, temporary service agreements, policy updates, business partner requests, process automation, and system conversions.
Support internal and external audits and follow up on action items.
Respond to requests from business and corporate partners in a timely and accurate manner.
Maintain confidentiality, adhere to guidelines, and observe the Code of Conduct.
Identify issues that may materially impact the company’s financial condition.
Manage multiple assignments with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines.
Adapt to changing priorities and communicate clearly; present information to small groups as needed.
Participate as a collabor
