Job Title: Financial Analyst, Capital Projects
Job Summary: Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Financial Analyst for Capital Projects will perform complex and interpretive financial analysis for capital expenditures, present project analyses and recommendations to management, and support monthly forecasting, recording of financial transactions, and the annual budget process, including variance analysis and special projects. You will partner with operational and functional project managers to provide financial guidance and ensure adherence to the Capital Investment Policy requirements.

Key Responsibilities: - Partner with project managers on capital expenditure accounting and finance-related questions. - Assess business needs, identify risks and opportunities, and communicate financial results to stakeholders. - Facilitate preparation, review, and approval of capital investment requests. - Provide guidance on cost control procedures and policies. - Coordinate accounting reviews to ensure projects are accounted for in accordance with GAAP, including the determination of capital versus expense treatment. - Lead monthly project forecast reviews with project managers and communicate key variances and business drivers. - Coordinate procurement activities (purchase requisitions, goods receipts, month-end accruals) for capital projects. - Resolve cross-functional issues related to requisitions, invoices, tax, and project costs. - Manage capital project reporting to keep projects within ap
