Job overview: At AWE, we offer a role where you will lead and manage a technical team, acting as the main point of contact for team members and other leaders. You will maintain the technical capability to deliver the integrated technical programme, aligning skills and resources with current and future business requirements.
Key responsibilities: - Lead, coach and develop a local team to achieve objectives safely and securely, including mentoring and career development. - Assess performance against objectives and take corrective action where needed. - Allocate resources across multiple disciplines and projects to deliver engineering solutions. - Ensure team competency and appropriate assessment, with evidence in line with company processes. - Ensure compliance with Licence/Authorisation Conditions, legislation, and regulations. - Mobilise resources to deliver the programme safely, securely and efficiently. - Ensure high-quality work subjected to appropriate governance processes and aligned with AWE strategy, policies and quality standards. - Manage stakeholders to positively influence decisions and programme delivery. - Maintain accurate configuration of engineering deliverables. - Provide agile capability delivering critical skills and resources to underpin the programme.
