About the role
Overview: Our partner, a leading Hungarian financial services provider, is looking for an AWS DevOps Engineer to join a large enterprise environment built on cloud technologies. You will work on modern cloud infrastructures, automation solutions, and Kubernetes-based systems to support millions of customers daily.
Responsibilities
Ideal candidate: Nice to have:
- Design, develop, and automate CI/CD pipelines in AWS and Kubernetes (EKS) environments.
- Manage infrastructure components using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm).
- Build and continuously enhance GitLab CI/CD processes.
- Operate and enhance AWS-based infrastructure.
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to reinforce the DevOps mindset.
- Help design and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure systems.
- Develop monitoring and configuration management to ensure stable operation.
- Participate in development and operation of automation solutions.
- Create and keep technical documentation up to date.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in AWS or Kubernetes environments.
- Strong DevOps mindset with practical CI/CD workflow experience.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes (EKS) and containerization.
- Experience with GitLab and GitLab CI.
- Practical knowledge of Terraform and Helm.
- Experience using AWS services (e.g., EKS, S3, ALB, NLB, RDS, DocumentDB, ElastiCache, OpenSearch).
- Good problem-solving skills, structured thinking, and willingness to work in a team.
- Banking or financial sector experience.
