Senior Java Software Engineer

Role overview: We are seeking a Senior Java Software Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable, high-performance Java services for sports data and betting products that run 24/7. You will own complex technical initiatives from design through production, contribute to cloud-native architecture on AWS, mentor engineers, improve code quality and testing practices, and collaborate with product and engineering leadership on technical direction. You will join a fast-growing, globally distributed team in Warsaw that values inclusion and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and operate scalable Java services for real-time sports data and betting products, 24/7.
Take independent ownership of complex initiatives from architecture decisions to production delivery.
Contribute to cloud-native architecture on AWS; influence platform-wide decisions.
Mentor engineers through code reviews and collaborative development.
Drive improvements in code quality, test coverage, CI/CD, and engineering practices.
Collaborate with product and engineering leadership on technical direction; push back constructively when necessary.
Develop expertise in a demanding real-time data environment.

Requirements

5+ years of professional software development experience with strong Java expertise.
