Senior Software Engineer supporting Hull, Mechanical & Electrical (HM&E) systems will join an engineering team that designs, develops, integrates, and tests shipboard software for multiple submarine platforms. You will analyze system-level requirements and derive software and interface requirements, design software components, integrate software with embedded hardware, develop comprehensive unit tests, and support verification and validation efforts to meet performance and operational requirements. You will troubleshoot and enhance existing code, maintain formal software documentation and design artifacts, and assist with prototypes for R&D initiatives. This role may lead a software team and is responsible for project progress and budget.
