Analytics Engineer is a hands-on technical partner supporting Canyon Bicycles USA’s direct-to-consumer (DTC) cycling business. Based in Carlsbad, California, reporting to the General Manager, Americas, this role builds and deploys practical data tools, automations, and measurement solutions with initial focus on Brand & Marketing and Commercial Excellence, expanding to Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and HR over time. The Analytics Engineer complements Canyon’s global BI architecture by acting as a fast-moving local activation layer, consuming and enriching global BI data assets, and delivering lightweight, purpose-built tools and analyses that answer immediate business questions. Work intake and prioritization are governed by the domestic Change Board to ensure a single, transparent queue across competing functional needs. As Canyon USA transitions from turnaround into growth, this role is central to improving the quality and speed of forecasting, planning, and day-to-day decision-making. The successful candidate will have clear mandate and autonomy to identify and remove internal bottlenecks and customer-facing digital friction, using modern development and AI-assisted engineering practices to accelerate delivery.
