Full Stack Software Engineer - On-site in Piove di Sacco, Italy. Vertiv is seeking an experienced software engineer to join the team developing web-based thermal rating and design tools. You will contribute to building scalable, extensible applications using .NET Core, C#, Angular, TypeScript, HTML, SCSS and SQL. You will work in a Scrum team with engineers from around the world to deliver a web-based thermal calculation tool. Responsibilities include maintaining and developing Web Services and APIs (.NET Framework/Core), designing front-end features with Angular, validating data with SQL Server, performing code reviews, and supporting DevOps with Azure DevOps. You will manage releases, explore new technologies through PoCs, and collaborate with product owners and architects in an Agile environment. Qualifications: a Computer Science degree or related field; 3+ years of experience designing and developing .NET Core REST APIs using C#, Entity Framework Core, and SQL Server; 3+ years of SPA development with Angular 2+ (RxJS, TypeScript, HTML, SCSS); strong understanding of data modeling, OOP, SOLID, design patterns, and unit/integration testing; experience with Git, CI/CD, and Azure DevOps; familiarity with Agile methods; English communication skills; plus: Angular 9+, HVAC knowledge, Azure experience. The role may offer a salary range of €38,000–€48,000 gross per year, depending on experience, plus benefits as per local regulations. The applicable CCNL is Metalmeccanico Industria.
