Stegra is hiring a Reliability Engineer to join the Crane Services team within the Mill Services function. You will report to the Maintenance Manager and help take the plant from construction to stable operations by overseeing the installation and commissioning of EOT cranes, conductor systems, monorails, and other lifting equipment. You will work with contractors, OEMs, and internal teams to deliver safe, high-quality installations; prepare maintenance plans, spare parts strategies, and documentation to support a smooth handover to operations; investigate equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement long-term improvements; develop preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to increase reliability and reduce downtime; and use maintenance and performance data to improve the reliability, availability, and lifetime of cranes and lifting equipment. Requirements include a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field; hands-on experience installing, commissioning, maintaining, or improving the reliability of cranes or industrial lifting equipment; experience in heavy industry, manufacturing, or industrial maintenance; good understanding of crane systems, electrical and mechanical equipment, and relevant standards; experience with reliability methods such as RCA, FMEA, and preventive or predictive maintenance, as well as CMMS/EAM systems (e.g., SAP PM, Hexagon, or Maximo); and good English communication skills, with Swedish as an advantage.
