About the role
JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Python Full Stack Software Engineer II to join the Model Risk Governance & Review (MRGR) team in London, United Kingdom. This on-site role focuses on building data pipelines and AI-enabled tools to improve analytics, governance, and efficiency, while reducing duplication of effort and ensuring robust data controls.
Responsibilities
Qualifications:
- Build data pipelines to fetch, validate, transform, and deliver data to applications, enabling reliable downstream analytics, automation, and reporting.
- Integrate model performance monitoring into business applications using Python and in-house frameworks.
- Leverage productivity tools to accelerate delivery, improve code quality, and enhance documentation and testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for language model (LLM) integration and develop AI-enabled solutions.
- Develop intelligent tools to support MRGR staff, including workflow automation and insight generation.
- Use enterprise AI-assisted development tools with peer review, automated testing, and secure coding standards.
- Apply SDLC knowledge and AI-assisted development to maximize automation value.
- Formal training or certification in software engineering and hands-on experience.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in STEM with programming exposure.
- Proficient in Python with knowledge of Tornado, TypeScript, and React.
- Understanding of software architecture, object-oriented programming, and design patterns.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with different business areas.
