Engineering Manager – DCX at Very, Liverpool, United Kingdom (hybrid). You will lead a squad of engineers, collaborating with Product Managers, Architects, Delivery Managers and other Engineering Managers to turn ambitious ideas into customer experiences that matter. You will stay close to technical decisions, drive engineering excellence, and influence the future direction of your team's products and platforms. You will lead teams building customer-facing products using modern technologies including TypeScript, React, Nest.js and AWS, at a scale that touches millions of customer interactions annually. You will develop engineers, balance innovation with technical debt and platform sustainability, promote best practices, and foster collaboration, knowledge sharing and reliability across the organization. You will contribute to the technology roadmap that supports Very's important customer experiences, drive modern engineering practices such as CI/CD, observability, APIs and platform reliability, and champion engineering excellence across the wider tech organization.
