About the role
Hello Heart is an AI-powered health tech company focused on preventing cardiac events. We are seeking a Product Designer with 4+ years of experience to join our fast-paced, collaborative team in a hybrid role based in New York, United States. You will shape intuitive, engaging user interfaces and contribute to our visual design system with high-quality illustrations and motion design. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and other designers to deliver world-class experiences for our users. At Hello Heart, AI is embedded in our workflow, not a side project, and you will delegate real design work to AI as part of your day-to-day.
Responsibilities
Qualifications:
- Design end-to-end user experiences from concept to execution using Hello Heart’s design system and visual language.
- Craft clean, functional UI designs that present complex health data in an accessible way.
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate research synthesis, prototyping, content drafting, and accessibility reviews.
- Create original illustrations and animations to elevate visual storytelling in the product.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Content) to ensure high-quality implementation.
- Conduct and participate in user interviews, usability tests, and product discovery sessions.
- Present your work and rationale clearly in team reviews and stakeholder presentations.
- 4+ years of product design experience with digital products; startup experience is a strong plus.
- Strong UI design skills with attention to layout, typography, color, illustration
