Responsibilities

• Own detection engineering and incident response: containment, eradication, and recovery, in collaboration with engineering and reporting to security leadership.
• Run vulnerability management: scanning, triage, remediation tracking, and verification; support the annual independent penetration test.
• Operate threat intelligence: track feeds, indicators of compromise, and keep detections current.
• Own security tooling: configure and maintain endpoint and network security tooling (EDR, firewalls, network monitoring) with engineering.
• Harden environment: establish baseline security configuration and access-control standards; drive remediation with owning teams.
