Avaron AB is seeking an Automation Engineer for an on-site position in Lund, Sweden. The role focuses on automation in an industrial packaging environment and combines programming, testing and commissioning to tailor solutions for different product types and customer needs. You will join a cross-functional scrum team and help ensure full functionality of each delivery across HMI, databases and PLC programs, collaborating with colleagues from several disciplines to achieve hands-on technical breadth and a clear impact on the final solution. Responsibilities include analyzing requirements and translating them into system designs for automation solutions; creating and adapting HMI, database and PLC programs; programming, testing and commissioning solutions as part of complete equipment deliveries; working with the team to ensure end-to-end functionality; supporting customers through troubleshooting and ongoing improvements; and providing automation training for customer personnel on relevant systems and modules. Requirements: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in automation engineering; experience covering the development process including documentation, development, testing and commissioning; PLC programming experience; fluency in Swedish and English; ability to pass a drug test before the assignment starts.
