Tooling AI Engineer

Based in Gdańsk, Poland, AMD powers the next generation of supercomputing, high-performance computing, cloud, and AI. We are seeking a Tooling AI Engineer to join our Compute and Graphics team and embed agentic AI into the core of how we work. You will sit inside a CG team, learn how they operate, and ship tools and automations that transform workflows. Your work will be shared, reused, and turned into patterns that other engineers apply across CG. Success is simple: someone does their job better because of what you shipped.

What you’ll do: - Build, deploy, and iteratively improve AI tooling, automation, and agentic systems that support engineers across CG. - Collaborate with teams to understand real workflows and bottlenecks; design tools with adoption in mind. - Ship reliable tooling, monitor usage, fix issues, and iterate based on feedback. - Help enable others by providing clear explanations of technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders. - Manage multiple relationships and workstreams across different AI skill levels.

What we’re looking for: - 6+ years of technical experience, including 1+ year building and shipping AI workflows. - Fluency with AI development tooling: agent frameworks, API integrations, Claude Code, Cursor, and cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS. - Strong Python and SQL, plus at least one other common language. - A track record of AI tools, automations, or agentic systems that changed real work (not just demos). - Evidence that the enabled users changed how they work. - Ability to explain technical ideas to non-technical peop
