Project Manager Assistant provides administrative support for assigned projects, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and company requirements. Core duties include word processing, filing, timekeeping, records management, correspondence, and processing project-related financial documents for billing, invoicing, purchasing, and record verification. The role requires self-management, the ability to monitor progress, and to report quality and safety issues to the supervisor. Responsibilities also include coordinating and maintaining project financial documents and software system inputs, supporting travel arrangements, calendar management, and daily office activities. The assistant serves as the project administrator interfacing with customer representatives, assists in developing and revising project processes, and safeguards confidential information. Additional duties include audits to ensure vendor/subcontractor compliance, reviewing invoices for accuracy, supporting payments, and performing reporting audits for safety, QA, and labor forecasts. Travel to project sites may occur (1–3 day trips quarterly). Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED, proficiency with the listed tools, experience in fiber-related work, and relevant certifications or experience preferred. This onsite role is based in Spotsylvania, Virginia, United States.
