About the role Assecor is seeking an AI Engineer to join a dynamic AI unit that acts as an internal driver of innovation in our Berlin, Germany office. You will work on GenAI applications, proofs of concept (PoCs) and MVPs, turning ideas into working products. Depending on the use case, traditional software development may be complemented by Robotic Process Automation components.

You will work on GenAI applications, proofs of concept (PoCs) and MVPs, turning ideas into working products. Depending on the use case, traditional software development may be complemented by Robotic Process Automation components.
Responsibilities - Analyze requirements and develop technical concepts and solutions - Integrate and orchestrate GenAI models and external AI services - Develop backend logic in Python and connect APIs, data sources, and webhooks - Extend existing solutions and implement automations with tools like Power Automate or n8n - Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, translate business processes into technical solutions, and present results
Qualifications - Practical experience building AI/GenAI applications - Strong Python skills and familiarity with AI APIs and models (e.g., OpenAI, Claude, Gemini) - Understanding of modern software architectures and data flows - Experience with REST APIs, Webhooks, and external services - Ability to work independently, in a structured, solution-oriented manner - Collaborative mindset and a commitment to quality - German language at least C1 level
Nice-to-have - Experience with FastAPI, Flask or Django - Knowledge of orchestration frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex or Haystack - Fundamentals in RPA or automation platforms - Knowledge of Azure, GCP, Docker and CI/CD - Experience building RAG applications
