Role overview: Robotics Software Engineer – Counter-UAV Systems (Mid-Level) is a hands-on software role focused on building robust autonomous software for real-world operations. You will design, implement, and harden real-time robotics software that performs in outdoor, uncertain environments with significant real consequences. Your work will directly influence the reliability, safety, and tactical capability of our systems. You will contribute to the development and integration of core robotics capabilities, including real-time components, multi-modal sensor data handling (timing, synchronization, calibration), and algorithms in estimation, perception, planning, control, and integration. You will ensure deterministic behavior, reliability, and system-level stability; debug and validate systems during field tests; and collaborate with cross-functional teams of robotics, embedded, and domain experts. You will uphold high engineering standards: code reviews, CI, reproducible builds, and documentation. You will work on real hardware and iterate based on field performance, where results are the final metric.
