Lead Program Manager in STR’s Mission Applications Group within the AC2 Division. This role is focused on delivering operational prototypes for national security customers, managing a portfolio of programs through all phases—from marketing and proposal development to contract initiation, execution, and close-out—while supporting business operations across the portfolio. The PM will work with government customers and multi-contractor teams to identify mission requirements, track schedules and milestones, monitor risk, and communicate progress. You will collaborate with product managers, technical staff, mission engineers, subcontractors, and support personnel to address risks and ensure timely deliveries, while gathering and synthesizing data from project reports and customer feedback to understand status and trends. The position also involves interacting with external program customers and internal leadership, and managing scientists, engineers, and technicians to achieve cost, schedule, and customer objectives in a fast-paced environment. This role takes advantage of STR’s flexible hybrid environment—remote work is possible when on-site facilities are not required. Located near STR offices in Woburn, MA (and other locations). Requirements include program management experience, a background in the DoD or Intelligence Community, and the ability to obtain and maintain an active security clearance (Active Secret or Top Secret with SCI Eligibility).
