Quality Engineer position in Tulsa, OK is to develop and sustain manufacturing processes that meet customer requirements while achieving quality, throughput, and cost objectives. This role leads the implementation of manufacturing processes, including process layout, equipment selection and installation, workflow design, process characterization, process monitoring and control, material handling, tooling, consumables, documentation, training, and support. Responsibilities: Defines, characterizes, and leads the implementation of new manufacturing processes. Ensures engineering and validation principles are applied to manufacturing process design and sustainability. Develops manufacturing processes to be trouble-free and designed for zero defects. Supports concurrent engineering efforts by participating in design development projects representing manufacturing/quality assurance and the customer. Designs, implements, and documents procedures for manufacturing process control, process improvement, testing, and inspection. Establishes and implements reporting metrics to monitor manufacturing process effectiveness and enable managers to make sound product and process quality decisions. Performs root-cause analysis and problem-solving using Allied Systematic Tools (AST) and quality tools including 3 Leg 5 Why.
