About the Job: Google Cloud accelerates organizations' digital transformation by delivering enterprise-grade solutions. This full-time role is based in Sunnyvale, California, United States, with a hybrid work schedule. The base salary range is $104,000 to $149,000 plus a 15% target bonus, equity, and benefits, with final compensation determined by role, level, location, skills, and experience. The position reports to the Google Sunnyvale, CA office and may follow Google’s hybrid policy.
Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications:
- Develop and adapt test plans for product features, participating in peer reviews to ensure comprehensive coverage and alignment with the overall test strategy.
- Automate test cases and improve test infrastructure, utilizing existing scripts and creating new tools to increase engineering efficiency and product health.
- Execute manual and automated regression tests to harden device hardware and software, ensuring the stability and quality of releases for specific product features.
- Define and document test frameworks and control functions, enabling other engineers to effectively test new and existing product functionality.
- Participate in product design reviews with cross-functional teams, providing input on testability, design, and implementation from a quality perspective.
- Identify, document, and report software and hardware bugs, escalating complex issues to senior engineers for resolution and tracking them to closure.
