Arcadis is seeking a Design Project Manager to lead hyperscale data center design projects for its American Places group. This remote-friendly role can be based anywhere in the United States, with travel up to 30% domestically to project sites and client locations. Key responsibilities include facilitating client requirements for data center design, managing the design process from campus planning through the issuance of construction drawings, coordinating procurement and change orders related to design and project scope, and providing engineering information to vendors and suppliers. The Design Project Manager will work with internal and external multidisciplinary teams to build strong relationships, ensure high-quality work, and keep milestones and deadlines on track. Travel to project sites and client meetings is anticipated to total up to 30% of the schedule. Qualifications include 10+ years of design experience with data center projects or other large-scale facilities (hospitals, high-rises, laboratories, manufacturing plants, or high-power facilities); experience working with multidisciplinary teams and direct client engagement; experience developing project plans, technical specifications, and schedules; familiarity with Autodesk platforms such as Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or Building Information Modeling (BIM) engineered solutions; a BA in Architecture or Engineering, with preferred licensure (PE, NCARB, RA). Strong communication skills, both written and oral, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment are essential
